Sports Medicine is an elective Career & Technical Education program at Kofa High School that prepares students to leave high school and pursue a career path in a sports medicine-related field. The program includes two courses in sports medicine: Sports Medicine I and Sports Medicine II, both are year-long courses. At the heart of the program is the Sports Medicine Club, which is also a HOSA (Health Occupations Students of America) Chapter at Kofa High School.
We do everything from taping athletes after school, attending week-long conferences in health care, inviting guest speakers from various medical fields, taking field trips to science museums and sporting events. Come join us, contribute to our efforts, be a guest speaker, or just simply visit our blog often!
